Cycle One Summary: Blood and Betrayal in Sector G12

The opening cycle of the Sector G12 conflict saw four brutal clashes between rival gangs, each fighting for dominance in the underhive. Territory changed hands, bodies hit the floor, and grudges were forged in blood.

1. Border Dispute at the Tech Bazaar

Billy’s Scrappers vs. The Glimmer Gang

The first battle of the cycle erupted at the Tech Bazaar, as Billy’s Scrappers (Ironhead Squat Prospectors) clashed with The Glimmer Gang (Delaque) over control of this valuable trade hub. The Glimmer Gang, masters of subterfuge and misdirection, sought to outmanoeuvre the heavily armed squats. However, the Scrappers’ stubborn resilience and superior firepower proved too much. After a brutal exchange, the Delaque were forced to withdraw, leaving the squats victorious and in control of the bazaar’s lucrative resources.

2. Ambush at the Gambling Den

The Blood Relatives vs. The Lodge of Infinite Rage

The Lodge of Infinite Rage (Corpse Grinder Cult) struck back at The Blood Relatives (Spyre Hunters) who had attempted an ambush at the Gambling Den. The Spyrers, usually the apex predators of the underhive, found themselves outmatched by the sheer brutality of the Corpse Grinders. The cultists, driven by their insatiable hunger for bloodshed, overwhelmed the technologically advanced nobles, forcing them into a humiliating retreat. The Blood Relatives, humbled and wounded, now nursed their pride as they plotted their next move, while the Lodge claimed the den and painted its walls with fresh sacrifices.

3. Smash and Grab at the Narco Den

Bitches of Battle vs. Barry Hood’s Barry Men

The Bitches of Battle (Escher) launched an all-out assault on Barry Hood’s Barry Men (Helot Chaos Cult of Nurgle) in an attempt to seize control of a profitable Narco Den. The Chaos cultists, steeped in the blessings of their Plague Lord, dug in for a desperate defence. Despite the Escher’s agility and deadly firepower, the relentless resilience of the Nurgle-worshippers proved too much. The Bitches of Battle were repelled, leaving the Narco Den firmly in the hands of the Chaos cult. With their grip on the den secure, the Barry Men revelled in their victory, spreading their corruption further into the underhive.

4. The Trap at the Mine Workings

Graven Golems vs. The Entourage

The final battle of the cycle saw The Entourage (Venators) set a deadly trap for the Graven Golems (Ironhead Squat Prospectors) at the Mine Workings. Lured in by a false cache, the squats walked straight into an ambush. While the Golems fought back with disciplined firepower, they suffered a costly defeat—one of their champions was killed, and another was taken captive. Though they managed to hold the territory in the end, the loss left them seething, and their grudge against the bounty hunters burned hotter than ever.

Cycle Two: The Vault Beckons

At the end of the final battle of Cycle One, the long-whispered rumours of the Vault beneath Sector G12 proved true—its existence is real, and it can be accessed.

With the next cycle of conflicts looming, gangs now face a choice: continue their war for territory, or put aside their rivalries—if only temporarily—to delve into the depths and uncover whatever treasure, technology, or horror lies sealed within. Any gang challenged in Cycle Two can instead propose an expedition into the Vault, forcing a temporary alliance with their would-be enemies.

Will the gangs take the risk, or will their thirst for dominance keep them fighting on the surface? The underhive never forgets, and the Vault does not open its doors for long…
