Battle Report: The False Vault

Image
The Lodge of Infinite Rage and the Graven Golems had come together in an uneasy alliance, bound by a singular goal: to breach the ancient vault hidden beneath the underhive. Rumours spoke of untold riches, lost tech, or perhaps something far more valuable waiting beyond the thick steel doors. But as they neared the site, the two gangs were met with an unexpected sight—a ramshackle shantytown built around the vault entrance. Crude market stalls, battered fuel tanks, and scattered piles of crates sat beneath loose tarpaulins. It looked more like a trading post than the gateway to treasure. The gangs moved cautiously through the half-abandoned streets, scanning the settlement’s scurrying inhabitants. Something wasn’t right. Then the first attempt to breach the vault came. Korgan, a fire-crazed initiate of the Lodge, lobbed an incendiary grenade at the towering steel door—four stories high, thick enough to withstand centuries. The fire shouldn’t have done anything. And yet, when the fla...

Side Mission: Rescue Mission

Image
While the Blood Relatives and Glimmer Gang clashed over the Settlement, another battle raged in the underhive. The Graven Golems (Ironhead Squat Prospectors) launched a desperate mission to reclaim one of their own from the hands of The Entourage (Venators). If they failed, their kin would be have had his bounty claimed and fated to be taken off-world by the spire starport, lost to them forever. A Stout and Stealthy Advance The Entourage, ever watchful, had set up sentries to guard their prize, expecting trouble. What they did not expect was just how stealthy a group of Squats in mining suits—accompanied by their robotic digging constructs—could be. Moving with surprising quiet through the ruins, the Graven Golems crept closer to the bounty hunters’ perimeter. The plan might have worked flawlessly—if not for the sharp eyes of Ponsomby. The hunter spotted movement in the dim light and immediately raised the alarm. The rescue mission exploded into chaos. Firefight of Attrition With...

Battle Report: Terror at the Settlement

Image
The second cycle of conflict in Sector G12 began with the Glimmer Gang (Delaque) challenging The Blood Relatives (Spyre Hunters) over control of a Settlement. Opting for an ambush scenario, the Delaque sought to ensnare the Spyrers in a carefully laid trap—but the plan went disastrously wrong. The Glimmer Gang split into two groups of three, stalking the streets in near-silence. Spotting the Yeld Yasmin with mechanical wings out-stretched and Malcolm the Malcadon seemingly exposed on a high platform, the Phantom known as Whisper lined up a shot with his Long Rifle and squeezed the trigger but the round sailed past its mark. It was at this point the Glimmer Gang knew they had screwed up. Malcolm reacted instantly, using his grappling hook to escape danger, while Yasmin unleashed a devastating rocket barrage towards the Glimmer gang. Her first volley missed, but the second struck true, reducing Abnoth the Shadow to a smouldering ruin. Meanwhile, on the other side Umbra and Gloom ran f...

Cycle One Summary: Blood and Betrayal in Sector G12

Image
The opening cycle of the Sector G12 conflict saw four brutal clashes between rival gangs, each fighting for dominance in the underhive. Territory changed hands, bodies hit the floor, and grudges were forged in blood. 1. Border Dispute at the Tech Bazaar Billy’s Scrappers vs. The Glimmer Gang The first battle of the cycle erupted at the Tech Bazaar, as Billy’s Scrappers (Ironhead Squat Prospectors) clashed with The Glimmer Gang (Delaque) over control of this valuable trade hub. The Glimmer Gang, masters of subterfuge and misdirection, sought to outmanoeuvre the heavily armed squats. However, the Scrappers’ stubborn resilience and superior firepower proved too much. After a brutal exchange, the Delaque were forced to withdraw, leaving the squats victorious and in control of the bazaar’s lucrative resources. 2. Ambush at the Gambling Den The Blood Relatives vs. The Lodge of Infinite Rage The Lodge of Infinite Rage (Corpse Grinder Cult) struck back at The Blood Relatives (Spyre Hunters) wh...

Battle Report: The Trap at the Mine Workings

Image
One of the only industries still worked in Sector G12. The mines echoed with the relentless hum of machinery, masking the careful movements of The Entourage as they set their ambush. The Graven Golems, marching confidently into the territory and, seeing no challengers, believed they had claimed an extra prize—a valuable loot cache resting at the heart of the Mine Workings. Little did they know, it was a trap set by the bounty hunter Entourage. Close to the Entourage’s hidden position, a second crate was stashed. While the squats eagerly investigated their supposed reward, The Entourage cracked open their own supply and found exactly what they had prepared: an ammo cache, stocked for the ambush ahead. The squats found nothing but a handful of credits—but the lure worked and they sprung trap they had unknowingly walked into. A Sudden Strike The Entourage wasted no time springing their ambush. With the first move of the battle, Prudent Ironfist sent a grenade sailing into the squat lines,...

Battle Report: Smash and Grab at the Narco Den

Image
The battle for control of the Narco Den saw the Bitches of Battle clash with the fanatical forces of Barry Hood’s Barry Men , a Helot Chaos Cult determined to defend some valuable crates of goods. The Escher made their intentions clear from the start—subtlety was off the table. A well-placed grenade from their launcher exploded into a cluster of cultists , sending them diving for cover and disrupting the defensive line. From that moment, the Bitches of Battle pressed forward, guns blazing, keeping the Helots pinned behind cover as they advanced. But the cultists were not so easily broken. From across the map a single well-placed bullet struck a sister , dropping her to the ground. This sudden and brutal counterstrike shook the resolve of the grenade launcher-wielding Carbi P , who had been pivotal in the opening attack. Rattled and on edge, she hunkered down behind cover, unable to bring herself back into the fight for several minutes. Soon the battlefield split into two distinct eng...

Battle Report: Ambush at the Gambling Den

Image
The underhive is no place for hesitation, and tonight, the Blood Relatives learned that lesson the hard way. Seeking to claim their first trophies in Sector G12, the elite Spyre Hunters descended upon the Lodge of Infinite Rage , believing their superior skill and technology would make quick work of the blood-crazed cultists. But in a cruel twist of fate, the ambushers became the prey. The Ambush That Wasn’t The Blood Relatives had a plan. They had spotted what looked like easy pickings—fresh-faced Initiates and Skinners gathered in the heart of the ruined Gambling Den , seemingly unaware of the predators lurking in the shadows. In their arrogance, the Spyre Hunters thought themselves untouchable. They took their time, setting up a perfect strike, waiting for the opportune moment to emerge from the darkness and cut down the Lodge’s newest recruits in one decisive blow. But the Harvest Lord Angrak and his right-hand man Helmar had plans of their own. Whether through sheer instinct,...
